Digital business models in the cultural sector? How can museums and libraries succeed with new forms of business organization?

Our Master students welcomed Dimitra Lida Mantzourani, co-founder of culturplay and former project manager at the non-profit organisation Future Library funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

This week, the master's students in the International Business Development and Business Intelligence module welcomed Dimitra Lida Mantzourani, co-founder of culturplay and former project manager at the non-profit organisation Future Library funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Invited by Prof. Dr. Vanessa Borkmann, Dimitra introduced the students into the challenges and framework conditions to set up innovative business models and how to grow a startup business within the cultural sector. This was a great opportunity for the students to gain insights from an international expert.
