DBIS is also a useful research source. In the database information system (DBIS) you can search for scientific databases from libraries all over Germany. Some of the databases are freely available on the internet.

  1. The SRH universities offer you a selection of e-books in all subject areas, which we obtain via ProQuest, the news aggregator. Please read the help text before using them for the first time.
  2. Here you will also find other e-books provided by the SRH - sorted by subject:

E-journals are electronic journals that you can digitally read. Here you will find our recommendations for e-journals sorted by subject area.

Furthermore, it is possible to search within the TU network of the libraries of the TU Berlin in their stock of e-journals.  To access the full text, you must be in the buildings of the TU libraries.

Or would you like to search for e-journals throughout Germany? The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) offers you a good overview. Many e-journals are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), for which the SRH University Library will arrange activation or, alternatively, you can also find freely available journals here.

  • If you would like to know which scientific documents the members or the individual institutes of our university have published. Use the document server of the SRH universities.
If possible, we also publish full texts here.
  • Since 2017, we have also published bachelor and master theses of our students in the OPUS SRH, which have been rated at least 2.0 and for which we have been approved by the authors. By the way: As a member you can also set your own scientific documents. We will check your details and unlock the document.

You can also research the media of our SRH libraries in our online catalogues – conveniently from home. Renewals of loans as well as reservations are also possible here.

  1. Many libraries in Germany, including the SRH Library, list their printed and electronic journals and newspapers in the Journal Database (ZDB). You can find both printed and electronic titles there. There you can search for newspapers and magazines in libraries throughout Germany.
