The digital transformation poses significant strategic, technological, economic, and communicative-integrative challenges for companies in all sectors. These companies therefore need specialists and executives who have a high level of methodological and innovative-creative competences in order to be able to develop unconventional and new solutions for these and as yet unknown challenges.
What is the content of the degree programme?
The Digital Business Management (M. Sc.) degree programme prepares students to conceptualise and implement digitisation strategies for companies. Through the study programme, they acquire methods for developing and managing companies as well as the techniques and instruments of innovation, organisation, process and change management.
The highlights of the degree programme are the focus modules on transformation strategies and methods, the elective modules (specialisations) and the interdisciplinary and international orientation. Thus, Master's students acquire sound competences in modern leadership and consulting methods in order to lead teams after graduation and to appropriately fill functions in transformation management and at significant interfaces, i.e., in business development, product development, IT management and marketing.
Our goal is to enable students to become experts in digital business, digital marketing, IT management, IT security, software engineering or product & service engineering - and therefore successfully lead companies into the digital future.
