Berlin is calling for hotel operations

Students of the English-taught course "International Hotel Management" get to know Berlin hotels.

As part of the lecture "Hotel Operations", Prof. Dr. Hartwig Bohne, head of study programme, took the international students on a tour of interesting hotels in Berlin. The first hotels to be visited were ACCOR's Novotel Suites, IBIS Budget and IBIS am Anhalter Bahnhof, whose concepts were presented by Patrick Fueg and Oliver Kranz. This was followed by the NUMA Nook and the Hotel Palace am Hardenbergplatz, where HR manager Amely Urban presented the hotel and its tradition as well as the operational challenges. The AMANO Grand Central offered the conclusion, so that a fulminant view of different hotel concepts and operational procedures could be given. "I am very pleased that the participating hotels were so open and interested in our students and I am glad that after the pandemic we are again able to educate great young professionals with a strong international bachelor program," Prof. Bohne was pleased afterwards.
