Full-time or dual - SRH Dresden presents study programmes

On the 25th of May, the university campus at Albertplatz opens its doors and informs about the innovative teaching concept CORE

Successful action is difficult to learn in theory. The SRH universities have adapted to this and have rethought the classic course of study and the university as a place of learning. With the new teaching concept CORE (Competence Oriented Research & Education), they are pursuing the goal of preparing students with their individual strengths in the best possible way for the professional world. Companies are looking for graduates who, in addition to specialist knowledge, have a sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team, good time management skills or the ability to acquire knowledge themselves. These competences are developed through this concept.

Interested parties can experience the CORE study programme concept live at the Open Day on Saturday, the 25th of May from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the SRH University Campus on Albertplatz in Dresden. In addition to various information events on the dual and full-time degree programmes in hospitality, tourism, events and marketing, there will also be 20-minute presentations in which professors, lecturers and students will give insights into the study contents, practical projects and internships abroad. In addition, there are valuable tips on living in Dresden and advice on various financing options.

"With CORE, our students acquire skills in compact, topic-centred 5-week blocks and in small learning groups in a practice-oriented way - just like in professional life," explains Campus Director Karin Zimmermann. "This not only makes it easier for graduates to start their careers, but also turns them into individual, self-confident personalities. But the best part is that learning according to CORE is fun!" adds Zimmermann.
